Getting there

By Road

The A685 from Brough (off the A66) or from (M6 J38) Tebay is the usual access route.
The route from the Yorkshire Dales (B6270, B6259), joins the A685 in the town centre (turn right at traffic lights).
From the Brough direction: Pass 2 mini roundabouts and then turn right at the third one. This leads to the main car park (free).
From Tebay/Dales: Continue through town to the first mini-roundabout then take left turn. This leads to the main car park (free).

From the car park walk back in the direction you have come and the church is accessed via a set of steps opposite you across the main road.

Parking

Apart from the car park mentioned, there is on road, disc zone, parking in most of the town. It is usually full on a Saturday - very active market.

Eating & Drinking

Good selection of pubs and some good restaurants around the market place.

Toilets

None at the church. Public toilets in town centre. Pubs the next best bet.
