Getting there
By Road
From the South (M6 J42)
Take the A6 north (London Road) for about two miles until reaching three sets of traffic lights in close succession. Turn right at the third set of traffic lights onto Eastern Way. The church tower becomes visible over houses to your right. Take the first right turn onto Arnside Road and then first right again onto Mayfield Avenue.
From the North (city centre)
Take the A6 south (Botchergate becoming London Road) until a tall microwave transmission mast appears on your left. Turn left at the next set of traffic lights onto Eastern Way. The church tower becomes visible over houses to your right. Take the first right turn onto Arnside Road and then first right again onto Mayfield Avenue.
From the East (A69 and M6)
After crossing/leaving the M6 take the road west (Rotary Way becoming Warwick Road) past the first set of traffic lights for Tesco and then turn left at the next set of traffic lights onto Eastern Way. Follow the road over the railway bridge and take the next left turn onto Arnside Road and then first right onto Mayfield Avenue.
From the West (A595)
Look for signs for A6 (south) and then follow the directions from the north, above.
Parking
Large car park associated with church. Advisable to take valuables with you.
Eating & Drinking
For restaurants go north along London Road into Carlisle. Tesco has a café (re-trace directions from the east). There are shops (including a Co-op supermarket) and a fish-and-chip shop nearby on the estate.
