Getting there

By Road

The A69 from Carlisle or Newcastle bypasses the town. Follow signs for the Town Centre. St. Martin’s is on the road junctions near the town centre, where the Longtown road meets the Main street.

Parking

Small amount of space beside the church, either in its own yard or the adjacent blocked off road section.

By Rail

The walk from the railway station (Brampton Junction) is quite long, so this is hardly a practical option. In earlier times there was a short railway link to the town centre from the station.

Eating & Drinking

Some good pubs in the vicinity and surrounding area.
Fish & Chips takeaway etc

Toilets

None at the church.
In the town centre on Public Car Park (adjacent to the White Lion Hotel).
